Have you ever felt lost while driving? Like you do not more where to go, either turn right or left and having second thoughts of going in a straight direction. Have you ever been driving and taken a wrong direction and blamed it on your steering wheel? As if you are a fool shouting and yelling over it. LOL. I do have the problem like this and for people with the same craziness like this, read on.
Not anymore, because Japanese technology company Takara is offering you a solution to it. It has produced a
technologically advanced steering wheel that gives you directions. The CSW steering wheel with Navigon 7100 GPS system is a joint venture of Takara (CSW steering wheel) and Navigon (Navigon 7100). This is what they are being proud of. They have produced this product with the hope of giving directions straight from the steering wheel so to lessen the driver’s distraction. Also it has the purpose to display key navigation elements and allow easy control of the navigation drive. It has a portable navigation integration that allows for key safety and navigation instruction through a 2-way communication between Navigon 7100 and the CSW steering wheel.
What does this thing can do us (drivers)? This device is pretty much a computer that talks to the sensor in your vehicle. It can give warning. It can caution a driver about certain portion of your car like if your door is left open, low tire pressure, and many more. Isn’t it very nice? The Navigon 7100 that is integrated to it can access vehicle information like gyro, speed and etc. However, right now there is no auto manufacturer that adapts this kind of technology. This product gives as the idea what will be the products in the future (twenty years from now).
So what we can do right now is just hope that a car maker will soon settle in using this steering wheel. I think this can help me with my driving problem…LOL… that I usually get lost of my track.
