A NEW RESTRAINT SYSTEM

While eveinnerautorything is going ultra-modern, I think we should always look back with the way things used to be. I mean nothings wrong with being modern but sometimes the things that are very old have proven to be more reliable. Yeah… that is true.

In cars, when it comes to safety there’s nothing more we could ask for with seatbelts. Seatbelts are some kind of old-fashioned protection… but oh no, it is very dependable. In fact, almost all that survived a collision or accident wore seatbelts. Almost half of the recorded accidents show people being saved from death just by wearing seatbelt. So thanks to this very trustworthyinnerauto car part. And also it is not yet getting out of scene. Not yet for there’s a revolutionary seatbelt that is soon coming.

To lessen more the fatalities which greatly decline in 1994 the Ford Motor Company is coming up soon with advanced and new-generation safety belt technologies. Ford incorporates a four-point “belt and suspenders” design to replace the usual three-point safety belt. Ford believes that seatbelts are still the most important safety technology in cars therefore they are trying hard to come up with an improve safety belt and restraint technologies in the coming days. The company’s advanced researches are being pushed by their aim of providing the needs of the aging driving population and their varying physiology by providing this improved safety technology.

Their customer researched also showed that their four-point belts are identified to be safer, comfortable and easier to use that the usual three-point belts. These were the solicited views from pinnerautoeople of all ages after Ford had their prototype belt system tried by these people. People are asked to ride the Mustang Cobra with the model four-point safety belt system that buckles at the center of the waist of the driver. This is the product of more than 5,000 feedbacks from consumers at various U.S. and European auto shows.

Ford is now working on demonstrating this belt system to lawmakers and show its benefits to them. Although, it is not yet recognized by the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 208 Ford Motor Company thus far holds two patents for the said technology and more are expected to follow.

For me, this is better than the three-point belt system. Although I haven’t tried it on yet, I can see that it can really make us safe from accidents. Hope this new restraint system will soon be used by us. Hope Ford can let these lawmakers see its worth and use. I wish innerauto will have it available soon
